Victory’s 27 years as a bass guitarist includes time with former bands Victory Underground, The Unemployed Gigolos and Big Richard & The Extenders. He is a native of Oxford, Nebraska and his influences are early delta blues, The Allman Brothers and Metallica. Ryan has shared the stage with national acts such as Tim McGraw, Alabama and David Allan Coe. Northrup has played with his original acts Hellanova and Radiosick and most recently with local favorite Whiskey Richard. He plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, and drums. Northrup has over 20 years of live performing experience under his belt. Wilson’s musical influences include Breaking Benjamin, Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd. A native of Bassett, Nebraska, his six-year music career as a drummer includes work with Homebrew. Wilson is one of the original members of Whiskey Bent. The Grand Island, Nebraska, native is one of Whiskey Bent’s original members and cites Metallica, Waylon Jennings and Alice In Chains among his musical influences. Westwood’s 12-year music career as a guitarist includes time with bands such as Husk and Boomslang. He co-wrote and recorded “Men Like Him” – a song about his grandfather – as part of a solo project. Tim recently worked at Station West studio in Nashville, recording and writing with established songwriter/producer Stokes Nielson of the Lost Trailers.

A Wisconsin native now living in Loup City, Nebraska, Zach’s musical influences are Johnny Cash, Eric Church, Alabama and Waylon Jennings. The front man of Whiskey Bent, Zach got his start in the music business in 2009 after winning “Colgate Country Showdown” and title of Best New Country Act in Nebraska. Whiskey Bent has opened or played alongside national acts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama, Jon Pardi, Canann Smith, Granger Smith, Trent Tomlinson,, Collin Raye, Justin Moore, Ronnie Milsap, Blackhawk, Casey Donahew Band, The Lost Trailers, Jerrod Niemann and Jake Owen. The band released its first full-length album in 2014, which includes eight original songs. Whiskey Bent is known for its 2012 debut single “On The River” as well as fan favorites “Every Bar’s Got One” and “Gettin By.” One of the most sought-after club bands in the Midwest, Whiskey Bent is a regular on the summer county fair and country music festival circuit, including the popular Kicker Country Stampede in Manhattan, Kans. Combined, the band has more than 80 years of experience in the music business.įormed in 2009, Whiskey Bent writes and performs its own music and covers a variety of top artists that include Eric Church, Toby Keith, Jake Owen, Gary Allan and Johnny Cash. In addition to Zach, Whiskey Bent is made up of Jeff Westwood (guitar), Jeff Wilson (drums), Ryan Northrup (guitar) and John Victory (bass). The Whiskey Bent Band is a five-man country rock band based in central Nebraska recognized for its high-energy shows, tight instrumentals and front man Tim Zach’s strong baritone vocals.
